Obstinacy in Protest
They tell us it is impractical,
unrealistic,
unworkable.
They tell us this because simply
the others can’t be trusted.
Can’t be expected.
Can’t be allowed.
They never tell us, though,
that what we want is actually wrong.
They doubt our sincerity,
our ability,
but they do not dispute
